Laura Schmidt has a strong technical background in fire safety engineering with a degree from the International Master of Science in Fire Safety Engineering (IMFSE) and a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering Science from Hamburg University of Technology. Her research focuses on the performance of engineered timber and innovative timber composites, in line with her interest in sustainable construction and buildings.
