Warringtonfire, part of the Element Group, has announced the appointment of Pascal Coget as European Certification Manager.
Pascal joins Warringtonfire from Efectis, where he was CEO of Efectis Netherlands. Prior to this, Pascal spent six years as president of EGOLF, the European Group of Organisations for Fire Testing, Inspection and Certification, and he previously worked in various operational and business development roles at construction manufacturers throughout the sector.
His new role sees Pascal rejoining the business after previous experience providing consultancy services to Warringtonfire in the field of certification, accreditation, M&A and engineering projects.
As European Certification Manager, Pascal will lead the European operational teams in their delivery of numerous certification schemes, providing additional support and guidance when required to ensure the seamless and highly technical provision of services to customers.
Rob Veitch, EVP Fire and Building Products at Element, said: ‘Pascal has been working with our business for over a year now, assisting various consultancy projects, and has extensive experience in the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) industry. He brings a strong understanding of the market and the needs of customers to this leadership position.
‘Certification is an increasingly important step in the route to market for many products, and for personnel with greater responsibilities. It delivers reassurance to end users, improves reputation for businesses, and leads to potential cost savings, so it is vital that we have the right engaged experts on our teams. Pascal will do a great job leading this effort for our European business.’
Pascal Coget added: ‘I am thrilled to contribute to the success of a worldwide leader in the growing market of TIC, and to continuously improve the operational excellence in the business.
‘As one of Europe’s leaders in certification, Warringtonfire delivers quality schemes with a great sense of integrity and ethical values. I am proud to be part of such a stimulating environment and to provide the European market with even more valuable services.’
